If You're a Modest Mouse Fan, Collect Vinyl, and Have a Couple Hundred Dollars on Hand, Go to Easy Street Records in West Seattle

A nice way to blow part of your paycheck: Easy Street Records' blog this morning informs us that they have in stock a copy of Modest Mouse's double LP The Lonesome Crowded West, released on Up Records in 1997, back when Calvin Johnson, not Big Boi, was producing the band's music. This rarity will run you a cool $175. (Your other option is to try your luck on eBay, where a lone copy of this same LP is currently at $100 bid with three days left before closing).

Also in stock? One of my favorite Modest Mouse releases, their 2001 EP Everywhere and His Nasty Parlour Tricks, on vinyl, for $75. And Easy Street promises that both of these LPs are "squeaky clean."
