Local trio Ravenna Woods (and 2010 Reverb Fest headliner!) is following up their 2010 full-length (and KEXP radio favorite) Demons & Lakes with an 8-track EP entitled Valley of the Headless Men.

Right now, you can preview half of the new songs via Bandcamp (including the current single "Tides"), but if you're really interested, you'd best head the band's CD release tomorrow night at Columbia City Theater (see freaky poster art to the left). You're sure to hear new material, and Ravenna Woods is always no less than dynamic in a live setting. Weinland and Fort Union are opening, the show starts at 9 p.m., and tickets are $8 in advance, $10 at the door, and two tickets are free today, because Reverb is giving away a pair.

To win the tickets, e-mail me at ethompson@seattleweekly.com by today at 4 p.m. You'll be entered in a random drawing, and the winner will be notified this evening.

Good luck!
