Today Reverb Recommends Spending This Sunday Night With Titus Andronicus at Vera

New Jersey's Titus Andronicus released one of the best-reviewed albums of 2010; a year later The Monitor is still rocking many a stereo with its raucous, galvanizing Civil War-themed punk tunes. Live, the band sounds pretty much like you'd expect them to after listening to their record--they like to scream and make loud noises. If you're looking for a sweaty and adrenaline-fueled evening, this is your game.

Titus Andronicus is hitting Indio, Calif., to play Coachella next week; on their way down, they're stopping here in Seattle to play an all-ages show at the Vera Project this Sunday night (April 10). Doors are at 7:30 and the cover is a worthwhile $12.

(If you can't make it, don't forget that the band will be back in town on June 18, opening for Okkervil River at the newly revamped Neptune Theatre).
