Following "Moonlight," Lace Cadence Remains a Lady-Pleaser With His Visuals for "Fire"

After leading with a Jon Augustavo-crafted music video for lead single "Moonlight," Lace Cadence returns with new visuals for "Fire"--one of the best tracks from last August's silky-smooth J. Moore and DJ Hyphen-hosted Launchpad mixtape. Shot by Cadence's childhood friend Atuanya Priester in some swanky Bellevue and Kirkland digs, the director's debut video features cameos from State of the Artist's Parker and Neema alongside leading lady Kelyn Rose Johnson and some pretty dramatic warm-color grading. The song is called "Fire," after all. But for a directoral debut, the clip is extremely clean, and Lace fits the Casanova mold like it's familiar territory.

A quick phone chat with the man himself revealed that he's working on a new mixtape, which he plans to release sometime around late April or May--but not before getting behind a third single from Launchpad. That project, by the way, is still available for free download on his website.
