SPIN has the premiere of Telekinesis' brand-new song, "Car Crash," off Michael Benjamin Lerner's forthcoming sophomore record, the Chris Walla-produced 12 Desperate Straight Lines. (The album will be released on February 15 on Merge Records). Despite its morbid title, "Car Crash" is a beautifully bouncy, shouty song, with a joyful, stuttering chorus. A perfectly energizing tune to get you through Hump Day.

Following the album's release, Lerner will go on tour with his backing band -- which includes guitarist Cody Votolato and bassist Jason Narducy -- a stop at the Crocodile is scheduled for March 26.
