Built To Spill Remixes Their Own Songs as The Electronic Anthology Project

electronicuse this.jpg
Built To Spill's last record, There Is No Enemy, was out last October, and since then, Doug Martsch and Brett Nelson have been up to some different shenanigans. "Dug Martsch" and "brett neLson" are now The Electronic Anthology Project, an '80s-minded duo who redo BTS songs using synth and drum machine beats. Check out "Eels" (originally "Else" -- the song titles are all anagrams of the original song titles). Is it blasphemous that I kind of love this?

You can hear two more new track's on EAP's MySpace page. The Electronic Anthology Project EP is available now at the merch booth on BTS' current tour, and also on CD Baby.

Very clever tracklisting:

01 I Dim Our Angst In Agony (Goin' Against Your Mind)

02 Age I Felt (Get a Life)

03 At the Where (The Weather)

04 Eels (Else)

05 What If Your Dull (I Would Hurt a Fly)

06 A Gloss Siren (Israel's Song)

07 Far Path Tall Sign (Things Fall Apart)
