This Is Adorable: Paul McCartney Celebrates Ringo Starr's Birthday Last Night

Ringo Starr turned 70 yesterday, and to celebrate, he had a bash at New York City's Radio City Music Hall. Paul McCartney made a surprise appearance -- he jumped onstage with his bass, Ringo took to the drum kit, and the two surviving Beatles jammed out to "Birthday," off 1968's White Album. Yoko Ono and George Harrison's widow, Olivia, were both said to be in the audience.

Watch the video above -- it's good quality, and it's the cutest thing I've seen all day.

Ringo Starr & His All Starr Band will be at Chateau Ste. Michelle on July 31. I doubt Macca will be showing up.
