There are more than 300 Seattle Public Library members waiting to hear Infinite Arms--as long as the album is free, of course.
Apparently, Seattle's musical taste (well, at least when it comes to free music) hasn't changed much in the last six months. More and more Seattle Public Library members are waiting on Lady Gaga's The Fame Monster: there's now 600 people holding their proverbial breath to get a copy of the 2009 release. And it remains the most coveted album among all digital music holds. (Maybe they're just prepping for her Aug. 21 Tacoma Dome concert.)
But those library-loving music fans have also broadened their tastes to include some newer releases: MGMT's Congratulations, LCD Soundsystem's This Is Happening, and Band of Horses' Infinite Arms. Not surprisingly, Owl City has fallen out of fashion in the last few months, but weirdly, we're still loving Sade.
