Tonight at the Croc: Last Chance to See Noah Gundersen until September Album Release

Tonight's show at the Crocodile is that last time Noah Gundersen fans can hear his rollicking alt-country style and thoughtful lyrics performed live for the next four months. Gundersen and his crew--better known as The Courage--won't be playing Seattle (or anywhere) until September, when they finally release their first full-length album. That record has been a long time coming: the Centralia-native-turned-Seattle-songwriter has released three EPs so far (including last year's stellar Saints & Liars) but nothing with more than seven songs.

Gundersen posted a new song, "Moles," to his MySpace page a few months back, although it's not clear if the song will appear on the new album. "Moles" is more down tempo than "Caroline" or "Oh Momma," some his more country-tinged songs, but it's just as pensive and soulful as the rest of Gundersen's catalog.

Noah Gundersen & the Courage plays the Crocodile at 8 p.m. tonight, with the Head & the Heart and The Denouement.
