Even if you didn't see the recent SIFF documentary Wheedle's Groove, but especially if you did, today's opening act of the Out To Lunch summer concert series is a can't-miss show. Wheedle's Groove, an all-star band consisting of some of the top performers in Seattle's late-'60s/early-'70s funk and soul scene that featured bands like Black on White Affair, Cold, Bold, and Together, and Cookin' Bag, plays downtown's Harbor Steps (1st and University; across the street from the Seattle Art Museum) from noon-1:30 p.m.
