Suicide Squeeze to Release Limited Edition Vinyl From The Coathangers with Dan Deacon, JEFF the Brotherhood, Iron & Wine, and More"/>
The local label Suicide Squeeze started releasing 7-inch singles fourteen years ago, putting out records for such Northwest luminaries as Elliott Smith, Modest Mouse, Pedro the Lion, and the Melvins, as well as out-of-area acts like HEALTH, Of Montreal, and School of Seven Bells. Now they're back at it:
On July 20, Suicide Squeeze will release two new EPs:
-a 7-inch of the Atlanta experimental duo The Coathangers containing two of their tracks ("143" and "Arthritis Sux") freshly remixed by Dan Deacon and Judi Chicago.
-a 7-inch of Nashville's psychedelic brothers duo JEFF The Brotherhood, containing two brand-new tracks.
Each EP will be released in a limited-edition of 500 black vinyl records and 250 color records. More of these records have been promised for future release, including contributions from Iron & Wine and Memoryhouse.
