Really? The Earliest Known Led Zeppelin Recording Is From a Show in Spokane?

Apparently bootlegs of this Dec. 30, 1968 show at Gonzaga--days before their self-titled debut dropped on Jan. 12, 1969--have been available for years, but it's taken this long for what's touted as the band's earliest known live recordings to make their way to YouTube.

In retrospect, this is pretty special. But I think, were I in the room at the time, I'm sure I wouldn't have walked out the door thinking, "Holy dam, this is going to be one of the biggest bands of all time."
