Silversun pickups frontman Brian Aubert earned major comedy points when he 'fessed up with the audience: "Judging by the size of this venue, we're opening for someone. Do you know who it is? Wrong! It's Muse. And we've been instructed to let you know that if you care about your brain, you should leave now. But if you don't, stick around and let Muse melt your brain a little bit."
And melt they did. Alternating between rising "towers" and a high stage, the trio played the same kind of high-energy, effects-laden concert they're notorious for to a Key Arena that filled up easily despite wind storm warnings. Though "short" compared to the two and a half hour announced set time, the band was able to play plenty of music in the hour and a half they were on stage.
And as you can see here, Bellamy and his turquoise pants went out with a bang by smashing his trademark Glitterati Manson guitar into the drumkit--proving beyond a reasonable doubt that Muse really knows how to entertain a crowd.
