John Prine's country-folk career is running on 40 years now, so it's only fitting to hear that he's getting a tribute album. Oh Boy Records will release Broken Hearts And Dirty Windows: Songs Of John Prine on June 22, featuring the tracklist below:

01. Justin Vernon of Bon Iver - Bruised Orange (Chain Of Sorrow)

02. Conor Oberst And The Mystic Valley Band - Wedding Day In Funeralville

03. My Morning Jacket - All The Best

04. Josh Ritter - Mexican Home

05. Lambchop - Six O'Clock News

06. Justin Townes Earle - Far From Me

07. The Avett Brothers - Spanish Pipedream

08. Old Crow Medicine Show - Angel From Montgomery

09. Sara Watkins - The Late John Garfield Blues

10. Drive-By Truckers - Daddy's Little Pumpkin

11. Deer Tick featuring Liz Isenberg - Unwed Fathers

12. Those Darlins - Let's Talk Dirty In Hawaiian

I'm rolling my eyes at the inclusion of Conor Oberst and Jim James, but these are all beautiful songs, and right now NPR is streaming Justin Vernon's (Bon Iver) worthy cover of "Bruised Orange (Chain of Sorrow)" from Prine's 1978 album of the same name. Vernon's serene and soulful vocals do the track justice.

Next Saturday, the 17th, Prine will play the Paramount - the show's at 8pm, and tickets are going for $32.50-$62.50.
