Jakob Dylan's newest studio album, Women and Country, out April 6, boasts some high-profile collaborators - the record was produced by T Bone Burnett and features Neko Case and Kelly Hogan on background vocals, as well as musicians from Case's own band, Paul Rigby, Jon Rauhouse, Tom Ray, and Barry Mirochnick. They've all been touring under the name Jakob Dylan and Three Legs. Check out this video of the song "Everybody's Hurting," from the group's performance at WNYC Radio. Neko sounds like an angel.
And if you like it, click here to download another new track from Women & Country (out today), "Nothing But The Whole Wide World." It's got a beautiful and easy, rootsy sway to it - I'd love to hear a whole record of songs like this one.
