MxPx plays Seattle Helping Haiti on January 28 at The Moore, with Sweet Water, The Maldives, Vince Mira, The Classic Crime & The Memphis Radio Kings. Tickets are on sale now for $15.
The Jan. 28 shindig, raising money for the American Red Cross, has got to be one of the most diverse bills to come our way in a long time. I want to see Jason Dodson of The Maldives crowd surfing during MxPx's set (which had better include "Move to Bremerton").
In addition to sets from MxPx, Sweet Water, The Maldives, Vince Mira, The Classic Crime & The Memphis Radio Kings, there will be a silent auction featuring goodies donated by business, musicians, and athletes. MxPx should throw in a package that includes a guided tour of Bremerton real estate, a plate of green eggs and ham at Hi-Low's 15th Street Cafe, and a jar of Harvey's Hot Buttered Rum.
