Every week, photograph and conversationalist Jenny Jimenez ventures out into the city and brings back photos and notes about the folks she encounters. This week she bumped into Rudie in Madrona, and with the help of his mother, Cindy, uncovered his musical DNA.

Questions and Photos By Jenny Jimenez:
Favorite song? Well, he's named after the Clash song ("Rudie Can't Fail"). He looked like a little rocker.
First rock show? Radiohead at the White River Amphitheater while in utero. He was about 8 or 9 months along at that point.
Are you still into Radiohead? Actually, he's more of a jazz baby. He'll be going to Jazz Fest in New Orleans next year.
Favorite Album? Probably Terence Blanchard's A Tale of God's Will (A Requiem for Katrina). When it's on he kicks his feet just a little and becomes a calm little baby. He also likes Frank Sinatra. That's what I sing to him.
Favorite radio station? He listens to a lot of KPLU.
