Our resident vinyl expert Jason Ferguson's take on this week's fresh wax:

This is a bit of an odd week for new vinyl. While the slate is stacked with legitimate new releases like Fuck Buttons' Tarot Sport, the Jack Kerouac-inspired One Fast Move album by Jay Farrar & Ben Gibbard, a new super-EP from Pontiak (Sea Voids), Logos by Atlas Sound, and others, there are also quite a few new pieces of wax sliding into stores that are albums that came out on CD and digitally over the past few months. Avett Brothers, Dead Man's Bones, Islands, Rain Machine, and a few others are making their vinyl debuts a week (or few) after folks had already had plenty of time to pick up on other formats. While I've definitely got a bit of "better late than never" feeling about that, I wonder how many hardcore music fans are really gonna wait two or three weeks to pick up a new release just so they can get it on wax?

Anyway, here's this week's lineup of new vinyl. Spin 'em if you got 'em.
