Damn, Weezer and Kenny G Totally Should Have Covered "Baker Street"

Talk about a missed opportunity. Spinner tells us that Weezer brought Kenny G in to guest during their taping for an upcoming AOL Session. Apparently Rivers Cuomo and Kenny are neighbors down in Malibu, so Weezer enlisted Seattle's most famous sax man to play a solo on the new track "I'm Your Daddy." No, Kenny didn't know anything about his neighbor's band.

But, here's the rub. They totally should have played Gerry Rafferty's "Baker Street," the song with the most identifiable sax solo in history. It would have been perfect. So perfect, in fact, that I'm not convinced that they didn't play it, and are just not telling us about it yet. In other Kenny G news, you can see him in person on Nov. 17 at The Paramount, where he will undoubtedly be pulling from his bazillion-selling Holiday album.
