The Massive Monkees continue to be in top form on America's Best Dance Crew, the MTV show that challenges a diverse collection of dancers to deliver high-intensity choreography around a theme each week. Each week, a panel of questionably qualified celebrity judges choose one team to cut from the competition based on the amount of votes sent in via text message by the viewing audience. So far, viewers seem to love Massive Monkees, as they haven't yet been subject to a head-to-head elimination round that befalls the two crews with the lowest number of votes. But with only four teams left, the stakes are raised, and locally the Massive Monkees family is organizing to rally support and ensure the team doesn't get cut tonight.
There are two opportunities to attend "viewing parties": one is an all-ages/family-friendly party at The Filipino Community Center(5740 Martin Luther King Jr. Way) that starts at 7 PM, and the other is a 21+, sports-bar style party at The War Room starting at 7:30 PM. Both are free, and Massive Monkees-affiliated DJs will be spinning at each. After the jump, check out a short clip of the crew talking about Lil Lazy's wedding this past week that all the remaining competing crews attended.
