For those of you who may not know, Ramona Falls is Brent Knopf's new side project. Knopf is probably best known for his other band, Menomena (one of my all-time favorite bands), but the new Ramona Falls record, Intuit, is quite good -- it's what Menomena might be like on a minimalism kick. Paige Richmond recently interviewed Knopf about the project, and there's a song (it's called "I Say Fever") posted there, too. If you want to go, drop us a line with "Ramona Falls" in the subject line and your full name in the body of the e-mail by this Thursday at 4 p.m. for a chance to win two tickets to the show. I'll notify our lucky (and randomly selected, of course!) winner by 5 p.m. And if that weren't enough, BOAT is opening, so don't get there too late. Good luck, all, and don't forget: the show is 21 and over (sorry, minors.)
