And the city of Seattle already knows about it. That sort of defeats the purpose in my opinion, but anyway, there's allegedly a Michael Jackson flash mob coming!!! I say allegedly because it's now confusing on if this is really going to happen or not. According to the city's Office of Film and Music, they're claiming hundreds of Seattleites will randomly appear in various places in the city center to perform popular Michael Jackson choreography in his honor. If this really goes down, I definitely hope some of us are lucky enough to see it. But a quick visit to the website of a group that was originally organizing all of this says it's no longer happening. Hopefully they're just saying that to try and fake the city out.
Fuck it. I say folks make this happen anyway. Folks were originally encouraged to meet up at Cal Anderson park at 10:00 a.m. to start practicing, and then do a full dress rehearsal at 11:45 a.m., followed by flash mob performances at 1:00 p.m. and 2 p.m. at secret locations. It's not hard to find out where, I just don't want to be responsible for giving it away. Hopefully, the true Michael Jackson fans are going to make this happen. If you're not familiar with a flash mob, and specifically, a Michael Jackson flash mob, then you need to check out the video after the jump to see how it all works.
