Pearl Jam seems like they've got a fire under them of late. Just this past weekend during a performance at Calgary's V Fest, they debuted two new songs off of their upcoming album, Backspacer. They'd actually played one of those songs, "Get Some," on a taping of The Tonight Show in June but last weekend was the first time they played it at a concert. And you can check out a cool video of them playing their other new song, "The Fixer" after the jump.
Based off this concert review, they played an intimate, fan-club only show last night in London and were joined on stage by Ronnie Wood. Eddie Vedder and Co. brought Wood out just four songs into their performance and they played a cover of "All Along the Watchtower." It sure pays to be in a fan club. You can check out a photo gallery of the performance on Rolling Stone's site. That's the magazine, not the band. They also played a few rarities last night like "Down," "Present Tense" and "Low Light." That gives me hope that when they kick off their tour with a hometown performance in Seattle on September 21 that they'll put out some tricks as well.
Update: Video just hit the web of Pearl Jam and Ronnie Wood's cover of "All the Watchtower" from last night. Check that out after the jump as well.
