Noah Gundersen, a singer-songwriter from Centralia who pens songs about his skeptical relationship with God, performs tonight at 7 p.m. at Neumo's, opening for Jordan Lake. It's the beginning of Gundersen and his backing band's two-month long summer tour--an extension of the 20-year-old's commitment to constant touring.
According to Gundersen's MySpace page, the band's newest EP, Saints & Liars, will be on sale at the show, including two new songs. It's a rare chance to get your hands on Gundersen's recorded music, since he's never released a full-length record (he has recorded one other EP and a live album). If you can't catch him live, music videos are the best way to hear Gundersen's lyrical, acoustic guitar-driven songs about the weight of the world.
