I Sure Hope Those iPhones Were Free

Because Apple is getting some darn good publicity for their newest product through local hip-hop group Dyme Def. The Seattle-based rap trio of Brainstorm, Fearce Villian, and S.E.V. recently shot a video for their song "I'm Gone" using iPhone 3GS' exclusively. It's creative aside from the iPhone angle in my opinion. They're marching through the streets of Seattle and making sure viewers can watch, see, and feel the energy of the song. Job well done. And it's probably one of the least expensive local music videos of the year.

Dyme Def plays as part of the Concerts at the Mural series this Friday, August 7, along with Fresh Espresso. The performances start at 6 p.m.
