It's a good one, folks! Doe Bay Music Festival happens on Orcas Island starting on the evening of Friday, August 14 through the evening of Saturday the 15th. There are only 750 spots for attendees, with lodging in the form of camping, yurt and cabin (you know, for those of you who aren't into sleeping on the ground).
On Saturday (as Paige Richmond already noted), the Long Winters, David Bazan, the Maldives, the Lonely Forest (pictured), Hey Marseilles and a whole slew of other wonderful bands will be playing the festival (you can see the complete roster after the jump). This is not your typical overpriced shitty food vendor, $9 PBR tallboy type of festival. If you're interested in going, you can buy tickets for $30.
