There have been a number of quality music videos released locally over the past few months, but perhaps none have garnered as much buzz and anticipation as the video for Jake One's "Home." Everybody I know has been waiting to see the final version of this vid since it was shot in February here in Seattle. It features practically every relevant member of Seattle's hip-hop community (with a few exceptions) and local director Zia Mohajerjasbi did a hell of a job putting it all together.
I was lucky enough to catch up with Zia and watch the entire thing about a month ago--but the computer speakers that he had at the time made it difficult to full appreciate all of his hard work. Still, I was impressed then, and I'm even more impressed now. Check out the video above and try to count the local rappers that you notice. If you count less than 15, you missed a bunch.
