I missed Dolly Parton's appearance at Wamu Theater a while back (pictured above), so I attempted to check out the Dolly Parton tribute night at Conor Byrne on Saturday night. It was supposed to start at 9. I got there at 9:10. It was sold out. With a good 15-20 people in line for the door. We hung out for about 20 minutes, then gave up. The music hadn't even started yet. Who knew there were so many people in Seattle who are so into Dolly, they can pack out a tribute night before the music even STARTS? Next time, I'm showing up an hour early. Anyone actually make it in the door and want to tell me how it went?
