Anyone that's into spoken word poetry should check out poet Mark Gonzales this evening. He's got an amazing gift for using words to tackle subjects like hegemony and misogyny --but does so in a language that's easy to understand. He's a school teacher, an activist, and a big advocate for justice in Gaza which is a part of what's bringing him to town. He'll more than likely be performing some new pieces dedicated to the situation in Gaza right now.
