Phish Fixing to Get Back Together?

Trey Anastasio doesn't come right out and say it in this brief interview with Rolling Stone, but he certainly seems more than open to the idea, saying he'd "give his left nut" to play "You Enjoy Myself" with his old mates again. With that, I'll come clean: Phish might be my favorite band ever to see live, and I quite enjoyed the Dead back in the day. This isn't a blanket defense of jam bands -- their studio output typically pales by comparison, and you have to be in a certain, uh, mood to fully enjoy their long-windedness in concert. But in the couple dozen or so times I saw them live in my twenties, Phish really never had an off show, as the Dead were prone to do (mostly owing to Jerry Garcia wandering in and out of consciousness onstage and Bob Weir's general suckitude). And wow, what a cover band they were when they chose to stray off their own road map. There's simply not another act alive that can conquerTupac & Dre's "California Love" and Zeppelin's entire catalogue with equal aplomb.
