The idyllic weather this weekend couldn't have been more perfectly timed for the Seattle Art Museum's 75th birthday, which was celebrated with a surreal, beautiful, and seamlessly executed party in the Olympic Sculpture Park. The highlight for me was the performance of Glenn Branca's Hallucination Symphony, which was easily one of the most moving and revelatory live music experiences of my life. I'll have much more about this in my column on Wednesday, including an interview with symphony participant Mike Katell.
