Call me crazy, but I think this is bigger than whenever the Beatles get added to iTunes. Why? Because when ABKCO released their Rolling Stones catalog to eMusic today, it means entry-level subscribers (40 downloads a month) like myself can get Beggar's Banquet, Let it Bleed, and Between the Buttons for $10 and still have 9 tracks remaining for the month. DAMN!!!
That's cheaper and far more efficient than converting your wax to mp3. This is just the Stones' work with ABKCO. If you want Sticky Fingers or Exile on Main St., you'll have to look elsewhere.
Other ABKCO artists now on eMusic include Marianne Faithfull and Sam Cooke.
