UNBELIEVABLE!!!!

If you live in Bremerton (which I proudly do), April 18 is now a holiday. The one day of the year we can enjoy the best of pop music without having to take the ferry. The one day of the year that we can actually WALK HOME after a show, where we can brown-bag it door-to-door, where we can enjoy an entire show without looking at our pocket watches, and cross referencing the ferry schedule. Downtown Bremerton is going to BLOW UP. This is Bremerton's biggest show in recent memory and the biggest to hit the area since EndFest skipped town.

Please, City of Bremerton, my BROTHERS and SISTERS, start planning, get the parade started, close off the streets, and make this a night to remember!!!!

Pitchfork reports this morning:

Tickets for the April 18-24 show on sale now for DCFC fan club members. The general on-sale for the Bremerton show is 10 a.m. Friday, via Ticketmaster. Tickets are $35. It's a small theater, so get your tix early!

04-18 Bremerton, WA - Admiral Theatre *

04-19 Eugene, OR - McDonald Theatre *

04-21 Arcata, CA - Van Dozer Theatre at Humbolt State *

04-22 Davis, CA - Freeborn Hall at UC Davis *

04-23 San Francisco, CA - The Fillmore *

04-24 Las Vegas, NV - The Joint at Hard Rock Hotel *

04-26 Indio, CA - Empire Polo Field (Coachella)

06-15 Manchester, TN - Bonnaroo

P.S. Why this show makes far too much sense to be actually happening.

1. DCFC's Ben Gibbard grew up in Bremerton, and his fam is still in the area.

2. Bremerton is the next Bellingham, so it's only fitting that this Bellingham-bred band embraces the future.
