REVERBfest Stage of the Day: The Sunset

Because All Roads Lead To The Sunset.

Ah, the Sunset Tavern. I tell ya, man...for me, a show at the Sunset is like a show in my living room. Not only is it close to home (for me), it's also the first venue in Seattle where the bartenders remembered my name. It's merlot walls have a way of casting a spell on me, as does the mural painted behind the stage. Much like Chop Suey, the decor tends to be Asian-American, an homage to the building's former occupant, a Chinese restaurant. I've seen more shows and swallowed more beer at the Sunset than any other joint in town. That's why I'm extra happy they're such proponents of REVERBfest. They have a pretty eclectic lineup in store. Things start off a little more indie rockin' with Carrie Biell and Fleet Foxes, take a jazzier turn with Das Vibenbass, then ramp up into hippity-hoppity world with Locke, Macklemore, D. Black, and Grynch (pictured above)! Should be a wild time, y'all! Here's the Sunset's full REVERBfest lineup:

6 p.m. Carrie Biell

7 p.m. Fleet Foxes

8 p.m. Das Vibenbass

9 p.m. Locke

10 p.m. Macklemore

11 p.m. D. Black

Midnight: Grynch
