You might want to conserve your energy for all of the exciting live aural events this weekend including, but not limited to. . .

NOW-SUNDAY: Blue Angels ear drum ripping obnoxious practice runs.

FRIDAY: Tiny Vipers at the Triple Door, Rapid Ric the Mixtape Mechanic at the War Room, Jennifer Gentle and Blitzen Trapper at the Croc, SeafaiRocks (live music-the Blakes! the Hands! amidst the hydroplane buzz) at Genesee Park. . .

SATURDAY: Bishop Allen, Page France and Throw Me the Statue (at the Croc), more SeafaiRocks, KEXP Audioasis at the High Dive with the Kindness Kind, Jen Wood and more, the Rentals (reunion alert!) at Neumo's, a red headed, possibly barefoot Brett Dennen at the Showbox, Thee Emergency and Iceage Cobra at the Sunset, the root-y Maldives at the Tractor. . .

SUNDAY: More SeafaiRocks, the last chance to catch Eartha Kitt during her stand at Jazz Alley, the Wood Brothers at the Tractor Tavern, Choklate's soulful sounds with Vitamin D at the Triple Door. . .

But in case you've got ants in your pants, kick the weekend off early. . .

TONIGHT:  Break a sweat at the 2007 Dance Off at the Croc! The Berklee Quartet will be at EMP and their polar opposites, Triumph of Lethargy Skinned Alive to Death at Jules Maes (with Coyote and See Me River and the Dead Horse Creek) and in case you're in the mood for a little Hawaiian slack key guitar, head to the Triple Door for Makana. . .

That's just scratching the surface though. Head here for a whole lot more.
