Just think, you could spend your Friday the 13th waiting in line to get Megadeth tickets! You know, in between Ozzfest shows. Dave Mustaine and his hired guns will play the Moore on Friday, Sept. 7, with openers In This Moment and the Confession. Tickets go on sale July 13 at noon.
Megadeth not your thing? How about the Cure? Tickets for the October 8 show at KeyArena go on sale Saturday, July 14, at 10 a.m. You know, because new-wavers get up early than headbangers.
Also on July 14, you can pick up tickets to see Henry Rollins do his spoken word act at the Moore on Halloween. If you've ever heard any of Rollins' spoken word stuff, you know he HATES the Cure. Should be an interesting line to stand in.
Just for fun, you can get tix for Talib Kweli's August 15 gig at the Showbox, same bat time, same bat channel. He'll have DJ Chaps in tow for this show.
Maybe we could convince Rollins to go off on Mustaine, too. No, this isn't an I-hate-Dave-Mustaine-for-whining-about-getting-kicked-out-of-Metallica rant. It's an I-hate-Dave-Mustaine-for-wasting-his-talent-and-pulling-a-born-again-Christian-still-playing-metal-act rant. Yes, I'd still go to the show. In This Moment are awesome.
