MCD's Spencer Moody Wants to Sell You Dead People's Stuff

Out of his new Capitol Hill storefront.

Spencer Moody, the beloved bearded frontman for the Murder City Devils has a new day job: running the Anne Bonny, his new store on Olive that's filled to the brim with carefully hunted vintage finds for your home, mind, body and more.

It opened quietly this past Sunday, and on Thursday, May 3rd at the shop's upstairs gallery there will be the opening reception featuring the artwork of Seattle's own John Atkins. On Sunday he joked that he was just going to buy a bunch of pieces at the Anne Bonny then mark them up, but I'm guessing the walls will be covered with John Atkins' originals.  Stop by to see what, exactly a John Atkins' original looks like, and maybe pick up a few dead people's accoutrements for your home. Full show info after the jump!
