In the interest of keeping hot, sweaty summer behemoth bills accessible to the ticket buying public, Ozzy and Sharon are aiming to blaze a trail by making their annual hard rock monster tour Ozz Fest free to the public this year. The master behind the puppet, Sharon Osbourne had this to say in a press conference yesterday-
"For the last few years ticket prices have steadily climbed as artists demand more and more money for summer tours. We certainly want everybody to make money; however, we also want the kids to be able to afford to come out and have an incredible experience. If we continued with the traditional touring festival model, we would have no choice but to raise ticket prices again this year."
They'll rely on big money sponsorships to put the show on the road- which rolls through Seattle June 29th at White River Ampitheatre. . .
