Q: What is one thing science nerds, wanna-be rock star tv addicts, and quirky pop-punkers all have in common?
Guess what? Looks like there’s gonna be not one, not two, but count ‘em, THREE happening in the Seattle this weekend. And you don’t even have to look in the sky! (Sorry science guys!)
Tonight and Saturday, Supernova – the pop punk band responsible for “Vitamins,” “Oreo,” and most famously “Chewbacca” – is opening for Presidents of the United States of America at Showbox, while on Sunday, Rockstar: Supernova – the reality show-created rock band responsible for wasting weeks upon weeks of television airtime –will play at Everett Events Center to, we assume, a half-filled house.
Hmm, is it coincidence that Supernova (the band that totally got the shit end of the stick from producer Mark Burnett and Tommy Lee) isn’t playing the PUSA show on Sunday? Looks like Rockstar: Supernova will finally meet its maker! Talk about a cosmic explosion waiting to happen!
