    ​While descending the stairs from the top of the 125-foot Astoria Column in Astoria, Ore., a friend of Dell Schanze said that the act his buddy had just performed was "the coolest thing ever done in Astoria." Besides the filming of The Goonies, we're pretty sure the guy is right.
