    Man Found Beaten to Death in Central District, Suspect Still on the Loose

    ​Early this morning, about 6:30 a.m., Seattle Police responded to an assault call at 26th Avenue and East Jefferson Street. There they found a yet-unidentified man with a large head wound, barely alive. That man died a short time later at Harborview Hospital.
