Bavarian wunderland Von Trapp’s is setting up a covered outdoor biergarten from Sept. 21 through Oct. 6 during Oktoberfest. The al fresco picnic-table seating will stay open until 10 every night.

Central Co-op is staying put for another five years at its home on 16th Avenue and East Madison Street. Current membership is at about 12,000.

More than two dozen local farms are participating in this weekend’s Jefferson County Farm Tour. On Sunday, Finnriver Farm & Cidery in Chimacum will offer a tasting, wood-fired pizza, and bicycle tours via Edible Pedal.

World of Beer will occupy 2,600 square feet in the Terravita building at 1615 Belmont Ave. on Capitol Hill by November. Expect 50 rotating drafts and more than 500 beers for sale by the bottle. The Florida-based chain opened its first Washington location in Renton earlier this year. E
