Run the SLUT

Seriously. Mind out of the gutter. Not that slut. The route of the soon-to-be-opened Paul Allen streetcar with the unfortunate acronym. Nic Rossouw over at Giraf Design is trying to get folks to participate in a very unorthodox race to celebrate the opening of the Seattle's newest transit toy.
There's no entry fee. No race day. No finish tape. Just run the route. Time yourself. Do it before midnight Dec. 31. And pick up your "Ride the S.L.U.T." T-shirt (like the one above) at Kapow Coffee.
Nic, who works in the neighborhood, says you can always set up your own finish-line ribbon, or simply break through some of the alert tape that is up at one of the construction sites. He also recommends running on the sidewalk when possible. There's still some big gaps in the asphalt down there.
