Possibly the only thing worse than celebrity bands is jock rock. Remember Scott Spiezio's band, Sandfrog? Yeah, that sucked taint — and that's about the norm for jock rockers. So imagine my surprise when I made it through Seahawk defensive tackle Craig Terrill's new CD, CT, and found it to be at least half-good — that half being the first half, which is a very listenable milieu of Little Johnny Cougar, Jackson Browne, Tim McGraw, and the E Street Band (the second half of the album treads into ass rock and power ballad territory, but is never embarrassing). Turns out Terrill's playing a live CD release party on Monday the 21st at the downtown Tap House Grill, and it's for a good cause: Gilda's Club. Full details after the jump.
