Lineup for Bumbershoot 2013 announced

One Reel released the official lineup for Bumbershoot 2013 last night at the first of two Allen Stone Prom shows at the Crocodile, and it’s proving to be an eclectic mix of acts old and new.

Known for diverse roster, this year’s Bumbershoot features headliners local big-names Death Cab For Cutie (who will be performing their breakout release, Transatlanticism, in full) and recent Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees Heart.

Taking in to consideration the rise of electronic music - 2012 headliner Skrillex had kids lining up for hours outside the Key - this year’s festival introduces an all-ages electronic stage at Experience Music Projects’s Sky Church. The stage will begin at 7 p.m. each night and features both local and national acts. Other names on the bill include Kendrick Lamar, MGMT, Tegan and Sara, Icona Pop and Alt-j.

However, the biggest surprise in this year’s lineup may be the emphasis on local acts. In addition to the headliners, local names include Allen Stone, Kris Orlowski, Ivan and Alyosha, Kithkin, The Grizzled Mighty, Flvr Blue, and Sol.

Three-day passes for Bumbershoot 2013 are on sale now [] for $120. Single-day passes are $50 for specific days; single-day passes that good for any day of the festival cost $55.

One Reel will continue the lineup celebration this evening with another sold-out Allen Stone set (look for our review this weekend). For the full line-up, and to see what days each act will play, check behind the cut:
