Who doesn’t love learning new creative skills? We work with dozens of master artists and craftspeople with specialties ranging from glass and leathercraft to pottery and jewelry making. There are plenty of options for all adults, teens, and kids in your life and even classes you can take together as a family. Redmond Art Works is offering Family and Adult Ceramics class in January, which involves learning both hand building and wheel throwing pottery techniques. Glassblowing and stained glass are also offered by several of our providers – age ranges vary but just ask if you’d like to purchase a class for the younger ones in your life.

We also cater to aspiring cooks and chefs of all persuasions, as well as wine and coffee connoisseurs and mixologists. Local favorite, indi chocolate is offering a mixology class with chocolate tasting in January and we have a full range of beginning to advanced home barista courses. Wine and food pairing is another popular class subject with a number of affordable classes and meal experiences available.

Another area to consider for gift giving is empowering your recipients with life-changing experiences. There has been a lot of buzz lately about the decline in life skills training like workshop in our schools. As a result our carpentry, woodworking, and welding classes have proven to be some of our most popular classes. In January, Seattle’s HazardFactory is offering a six-week metal bootcamp that allows students to thoroughly geek out on welding machines. They also offer options for intermediate and advanced metal working students throughout the New Year.

We also offer a number of classes and workshops for those who can benefit from improving their life skills in home & garden, career, relationships, health & wellness, and much more. Cloud 9 Art School in Bothell is offering a Sketching for Self Discovery workshop in January, which helps students work on their drawing and watercolor skills while revealing and processing their emotions. It’s a course that will help empower and motivate any student who takes it.

Start your new years resolutions early with any of our life skill classes.

For the musicians, actors, and dancers on your list, we partner with world-class providers like The Music Center of the Northwest and Pacific Ballroom Dance in Auburn. We even offer burlesque classes and other popular dance forms to help your gift list shake the winter doldrums off and improve their wellness and fitness.

Become a star with performing arts classes.
