George Méliès: Impossible Voyager

The French pioneer of silent era special effects and trick films (1861-1938) had his voice recorded during his late career. Here, his 1904 The Impossible Voyage is accompanied by his own narration and a sonic collage of old 78 rpm records, courtesy of Robert Millis and Jeffrey Taylor. More cinematic rarities and music round out the evening, presented by The Sprocket Society and NWFF.(NR). $5-$8.50 Thu., May 15, 8:00pm
