Dinner in a Field with Brandon Pettit Tonight, Fuji Bakery Opens New Location

Here’s a reason to get off work early: Traveling farm dinner series Outstanding in the Field comes to Skagit River Ranch in Sedro-Woolley this evening, and as these photos from past dinners attest it’s going to be pretty amazing. Starting at 4 p.m., Delancey/Essex co-owner Brandon Pettit is preparing a feast served alfresco on one very long table on the farm’s property. Tickets cost $180 and include multiple courses and drinks. Click here for more info.

In other news, it’s officially official: Fuji Bakery has opened its anticipated second Seattle location at 1030 Elliott Ave. W. You can pair slices of matcha azuki or brioche sel with brew from Vashon Island Coffee Roasterie. Hours are 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday, but (at least for now) the shop is closed Sundays.
