1. The Pacific Science Center’s STEM: Science Uncorked event takes place tonight from 7 to 10 PM. The $45 tickets give you access to unlimited tastings from 20 Washington wineries. The event also features cork crafts, science demonstrations, and food pairings.

2. Hot Cakes in Ballard is teaming up with Sarah Adler of Simply Real Health to host a brunch workshop on Saturday from 11 AM to 12:30 PM. The morning will include food, cocktails, and healthy desserts. They’re also promising treats to take home.

3. Old Ballard Liquor Co. is releasing their seasonal spring Aquavit – and you can taste it at their Drink Like a Viking Aquavit Release Party tomorrow from 5 to 9 PM at the Swedish Club. Entry is free, cocktails are discounted, and a formal dinner is available for purchase.

4. Womp, womp: The news earlier this week that the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau approved powdered alcohol has reversed course. The Associated Press is reporting that the approvals for “Palcohol” were issued in error; Palcohol says it plans to resubmit its labels after making a few tweaks.
