Police: 911 Call Leads to Leg Bone On Warehouse Roof

Seattle Police say a man called 911 Friday afternoon after finding what appeared to be a human leg bone on the roof of a warehouse. According to police, the disturbing call came in around noon directing authorities to the 2600 block of NW Market Street.

According to the SPD Blotter blog:

The man who made the grim discovery also told police he did not believe the leg bone belonged to an animal.

Officers responded to the scene and have turned the case over to the King County Medical Examiner’s office to identify the remains.

The Blotter blog indicates that no further information is known at this time but updates to the investigation will be posted as they become available.
